Custom Map : $220.00 + Tax
Included in your custom map order is one (1) 18"x24" print. These maps are drawn by me in the same style and format as my other maps. I’m happy to add any small customizations you’d like, things like what you want the title of the map to be, if you want a little icon of where your cabin is on the map, a significant year and family name etc. please just let me know! They are Digitally Printed on Premium Heavyweight Matte Paper. This item ships for free but can not be combined with other items in the shop for free shipping. Prints have to be shipped separately from apparel and goods to help keep them safe. :)
Additional Prints : $24.00 + Tax
If you'd like to order additional prints of the same custom map there is a small fee to cover printing costs.
Map Minky Blanket : $75.00 + Tax
Minky Map Blanket 50”x60” with your custom map printed on it. This price includes separate shipping from your printed map. Your Minky Map Blanket will take an additional 3-4 weeks to ship after your map print.
The Process
1. Pick a Place
This can be a lake, river, bay, town, park, area, whatever you like and wherever has meaning to you or the person you wish to gift this artwork to. Need an idea of what's possible? Have a look at what I currently have available on the Prints page. Small lakes / areas typically do not translate well into my illustratin style. Please keep that in mind.
2. Add an important detail
Does your cottage, cabin, camp have a special name you'd like listed as a Subheading? Or maybe you and your partner started camping in a specific park back in a certain year. Maybe a meaningful saying or lyric. Whatever it may be, this adds an extra level of personalization.
3. Watch your Inbox
Going through the submissions in order that they come. I'll reach out via email to confirm if I can draw your request (some places just don't translate well). Once you submit a request it could take me a few business days to respond. Please be patient 🧡 I'll be double confirming the place you requested by sending a screenshot & If I don't hear back within a few days, I'll reach out to the next submission. That being said, please don’t submit a request unless you are serious about moving forward with a map.
4. Payment & delivery!
Once you've confirmed your location with me, you'll receive an invoice link through the online store to your inbox for payment. Payment must be sent within 24hrs. There is a 2-3 week window for me to work on your map drawing. Once I'm done drawing your map and it has been printed, I'll pack it up as safe as I can and you'll receive a shipping notification with tracking!
Please do not make a request unless you fully intend to proceed with purchase.
Some FAQ
Can I request the water be a different colour?
Absolutely! The only thing I can't promise is how it will look printed. The current colour I use has been tested. I will not have an opportunity to test a new colour, so there is a small risk.
Do you sell frames for the maps?
I don't, but you can purchase a frame that fits your map from oppositewall.com
Why do I have to submit a request before ordering and paying?
There are just some places that are not possible for me to draw or just don't translate well into the style I draw them in. I don't want to take money from anyone and then have to return it if I can't complete the project for them .
Can the map be different dimensions?
Send me an email or DM ahead and let me know what size you're thinking and I can provide an estimate based on that. The cost could change slightly depending on the size you're wanting (a little less for a smaller print or a little more for a bigger one). My printer does have limitations so some sizes may not be possible. I've also found that the bigger prints run a higher risk of damage in the shipping process.
